Building Confidence, Connection & Fitness in the Water
Women’s Wednesdays is back for another year, continuing to provide a safe, supportive, and welcoming space for women to build confidence, get active, and connect with others in the community.
Starting Wednesday 22 April, the much-loved programme will once again be held at the Cromwell Swimming Pool from 7:30pm – 8:30pm.
Supported by Central Otago Swim Centers, Sport Central, Welcoming Communities, and Cromwell Community House, the programme has become a valued opportunity for women of all ages, backgrounds, and fitness levels to enjoy movement in a positive and encouraging environment.
What to Expect
Over the 10-week programme, participants will enjoy:
10 x 60-minute sessions
Opportunities to try Aqua Fit
Rotating activity stations
A private and supportive atmosphere
Whether participants are confident in the water or simply wanting to give something new a go, Women’s Wednesdays focuses on inclusion, wellbeing, and community connection.
More Than Exercise
Women’s Wednesdays is about more than fitness. The programme creates opportunities for women to meet others, gain confidence, and feel comfortable participating at their own pace.
The supportive environment has made the programme popular in previous years, with many women enjoying not only the physical benefits but also the social connection and encouragement that comes from being part of the group.
